Nestled within the breathtaking rainforests of Borneo is the Sepilok Rainforest Discovery Centre, which we will visit whilst on our Borneo Wildlife Adventure in June 2024. As you step into this immersive sanctuary, you will be captivated by the vibrant biodiversity and profound beauty of the natural surroundings.

The Rainforest Discovery Centre offers a range of educational exhibits and interactive displays, providing you with valuable insights into the region’s rich ecosystem and the importance of conservation efforts. From the informative exhibits on local flora and fauna, to engaging multimedia presentations, every corner of the centre is designed to inspire and educate.

You will have the opportunity to explore the canopy walkway, a network of elevated walkways suspended high above the forest floor. From this unique vantage point, you will be able to observe the diverse canopy life, from the colourful birds to elusive primates, whilst soaking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding rainforest.

The Rainforest Discovery Centre also offers guided nature walks led by knowledgeable naturalists, providing a deeper understanding of the intricate relationships between plants, animals, and their environment. Along the way, you may encounter a variety of fascinating wildlife species, from playful gibbons swinging through the trees, to vibrant butterflies flitting among foliage.
