You, Me & Friends “Easy-paced 4 night stays”

Many of our trips now include “easy-paced 4 night stays”. These 4 night stays have become extremely popular, allowing us to get a true flavour of each area, and relieving us of the stresses of constant travel. You actually have time to unpack your suitcase. You get to enjoy the hotel facilities you are staying at. You become familiar with the area around. You have some valuable free time to do exactly what YOU want to do. You start to feel a bit like a local!

The easy-paced 4 night stays generally follow this successful formula.

Day 1: Arrive at your hotel. In the evening, if we arrive early enough, head out for a walking-tasting tour.

Day 2: Orientation tour of the city, to get an overview of the city/area with insights from a local guide. That evening we dine at a local restaurant that is representative of the food of the area.

Day 3: A full day tour to an “iconic” attraction of the area. Because of the long day, dinner will probably be at the hotel, or at a restaurant very close by.

Day 4: This is a free day. Your host will have suggested some optional excursions that you may want to do, but otherwise the day is yours to explore/eat/shop/relax. For the Host, this is a work day that they will use to catch up on the multitude of admin tasks that must be done on each trip, so don’t expect them to be as “free” as you are!

Day 5: After breakfast, check out and depart (and probably repeat the cycle at the next destination).

Oh my gosh, we all had a fantastic day out. Thank you so much. I really didn’t expect to like all those weird and wonderful snacks during the "Curious Food Train" activity, and didn’t think they would all participate. The staff all keep thanking us for such a great day. Looking forward to next years event!
