Jun24: Whist staying at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge on our Borneo Wildlife Adventure, we will embark on a river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to the Kelenanap Oxbow Lake. This lake is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by intrepid travelers seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure. As we venture into this pristine wilderness, you will immediately be struck by the serene beauty of the lake, its tranquil waters reflecting the green canopy overhead.

Formed over centuries by the meandering course of the Kinabatangan River, this oxbow lake has evolved into a thriving ecosystem, home to a diverse array of flora and fauna. As our boat glides along the calm waters, we will be greeted by the sight of majestic hornbills soaring overhead, and colorful kingfishers darting across the surface.
