Join us for this timeless tale of greed, corruption, murder, and showbiz…
On the morning of the tour meet us at the Whangarei Club. We will then drive down to Auckland, stopping for coffee and cake (at your own expense) on the way at Café Eutopia. We will arrive in Takapuna in time to grab a quick lunch, then wander over to the Bruce Mason Centre for the 2pm matinee performance of Chicago – a vaudeville musical.
The brand-new production, directed by Kiwi creative institution Michael Hurst and choreographed by Australasia’s best, Michael Ralph brings all the glitz, glamour, and scandal of 1920s Chicago to life like never before. The fully-professional cast will feature international and New Zealand singers, dancers and actors, telling a universal tale of fame, fortune, and all that jazz, with one showstopping song after another including Razzle Dazzle, Cell Block Tango and All That Jazz; and the most astonishing dancing you’ve ever seen.
After the show we head home, stopping at Warkworth for dinner on the way before getting back to the Whangarei Club at around 8.30pm.
