Often seen as merely a gateway to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast, this city break tour takes time to discover all that Brisbane has to offer as a destination in it’s own right. Recognised as Australia’s most biodiverse city, there is so much to explore here without needing to re-pack your bags throughout the trip!
We’ll start with pick up from Whangarei homes, then from Auckland it is a short flight to Brisbane (5 nights), where we will unpack for the week ready to explore.
Over the course of the week, you’ll join your host in a myriad of adventures; including behind-the-scenes looks at iconic buildings and parklands, eating your fill at the amazing night food markets, shopping til you drop in modern and classic arcades and more. Take in a morning river cruise, before strolling along the famous Southbank – home to installations still standing from the city’s previous roles as host of the Commonwealth Games and World Expo – or check out Australia’s only man-made inner city beach for a refreshing dip without the jellyfish…
The tour is planned to coincide with the Roma Parkland Enchanted Garden – an annual event where Roma Parkland is transformed by light displays at night into a fairy wonderland. Step into another world where magic and imagination reign supreme.
At the end of an amazing week, take the short hop back over the ditch, where our van will be waiting to deliver you home in the easiest of fashions.
