Hosted Tour: 14 days / 13 nights

Departing Mon 9th Mar 26

 Day one we depart from our central Whangarei homes to our Auckland airport area   hotel (1 night). The next day we fly direct to Hobart (1 night) with an afternoon walking tour. From Hobart, we depart on our private coach with a stop at the stunning Wall of Wilderness to arrive at Strahan (2 nights). The next day we take the World Heritage Cruise on the Gordon River and are treated to the local show “The Ship that never was”.

Continuing North, we stop at Cradle Mountain National Park, then on to Burnie (2 nights). Using Burnie as a base, we explore the north of the island, visiting “The Nut” and various places on “Cradle to Coast Taste Trail”.

From Burnie, we follow the “Cradle to Coast Taste Trail” east, stopping in at food and beverage producers all along the way to Launceston (3 nights). Here we explore the Launceston sights, including Cataract Gorge, Seahorse World & Platypus house, & The Tamar Valley wine region. Departing Launceston we drive south to Bicheno (1 night) with a  Penguin tour in the evening.

The next morning, we explore Freycinet National Park, then head to Hobart for (3 nights). The next morning, we take our day tour to Port Arthur Historic centre.

Saturday is the day of the Salamanca Morning Markets, then in the afternoon some options for further city sightseeing. On Sunday we depart Hobart to arrive early evening back into Auckland, then are delivered late to our central Whangarei homes.
