This WOW! Wellington Trip has everyone being picked up from our central Whangarei homes on Wed 2nd Oct 24 and driving to Auckland Airport to fly to Wellington. In Wellington we stay 3 nights at a centrally located three-star hotel.
During the day on Thursday and Friday, you and your host will explore the highlights of our capital city.
Entrances to activities and sights such as Te Papa, The Beehive and NZ House of Parliament, the Wellington Botanical Gardens and more will be optional, with your host on hand to help you discover all the city has to offer. From the view at the hills of Kelburn to the perfect latte on the waterfront, to the eclectic lanes of Cuba St, making use of Wellington’s various modes of transport including Cable Car and Taxi.
Highlighting this trip, on Thursday evening at the TSB Arena, we have premium tickets to WOW – World of
Wearable Art Awards Show. This not to be missed spectacle takes art off the static walls and onto the body in a lavish and unique display.
On Saturday, we say goodbye to Wellington and fly back north to Auckland Airport, then shuttle back to be
delivered to our homes in Whangarei.
