Hosted Day Tour

Our hunt for the finest thrift stores & hidden treasures starts with meeting your tour hosts along with fellow treasure hunters at the Kensington Sports carpark at 7.45am. With an early get-away from Whangarei to beat the morning traffic, we first stop in Wellsford, with time for your choice of a coffee or sneaky preview of shops.
Our first full stop is in Wairau Park. With a decent amount of time allowed for each stop, you’ll be able to scour the selection of stores thoroughly for whatever takes your fancy – clothes, books, homewares or curios.
Next up is Milford. Here we will stop at Milford shopping centre, with a variety of options for lunch and also nearby op-shops waiting for discovery.
Our final shopping destination is Browns Bay, with 5 stores in close proximity. Take some time to wander through these, and who knows – there may be more at hand that Google doesn’t know about! Once we have had our fill of stores we’ll head to Browns Bay reserve for refreshments.
At this point you can sit back and relax, let your Host negotiate the traffic home, where we will arrive back at Kensington Sports Park at around 6.45pm.
