We shuttle from our homes in Whangarei to Auckland (1night) then fly to our stopover point (2 nights). We touch down in Japan in Osaka (4 nights) and to Kyoto (4 nights).
Travelling by bullet train to Tokyo (4 nights), then on to Akita (1 night) to take the Shirakami scenic train to Amori (1 night)
Leaving Honshu, we will take the underwater train to Japan’s northernmost island, Hokkaido (4 nights). We will see much of what the Hokkaido has to offer including the islands largest city Sapporo, visit the stunning port city of Otaru, and Furano. We will return to Tokyo by plane from Sapporo, and on to an overnight flight to Auckland, where we will meet our shuttle to take us back to our homes in Whangarei.
