On Day 1, we’ll collect you from your Whangarei home and transfer to Auckland Airport, and you will enjoy the comfort of the Strata Lounge before boarding an overnight flight to South America.

Our journey begins in the vibrant city of Santiago, Chile (3 nights), where you’ll discover its rich culture and architecture, complemented by a day trip to Valparaíso and Marina del Mar. Next, we head to Buenos Aires (3 nights), Argentina’s lively capital. Here, you’ll experience the city’s charm through a guided city tour and enjoy a captivating evening tango show.

On Day 6, we unite with our fellow Antarctic Adventurers and set off for the ultimate expedition. A chartered flight takes us to Ushuaia, where we embark on a 10-day luxury cruise aboard Ponant’s Lé Lyrial in a balcony cabin.

During these magical days, you’ll immerse yourself in the breathtaking Antarctic Peninsula, surrounded by towering icebergs, pristine glaciers, and snow-capped peaks. Expect unforgettable wildlife encounters—humpback whales, Gentoo, Adélie, and chinstrap penguins, leopard and Weddell seals, and a variety of seabirds. Enjoy Zodiac excursions and guided shore landings, led by expert naturalists who share insights into the region’s history and biodiversity.

After crossing the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia, we return by chartered flight to Buenos Aires. From here, you may choose to fly home or join an optional 4-day extension to Iguazu Falls, where you’ll marvel at the falls from both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides and visit the renowned National Bird Park.

Finally, we return to Santiago (1 night) via São Paulo before flying back to Auckland. After an overnight stay near the airport, we’ll transfer you home to Whangarei on Day 21, concluding this extraordinary adventure.
