Our journey begins with a relaxed shuttle from Whangarei to Auckland (1 night), before flying to South Korea the next day. We settle into Seoul for four nights, where royal palaces sit beside glass towers, quiet temples hide among busy streets, and neighbourhood markets buzz with life.

Guided sightseeing is balanced with free time as we explore Seoul at an easy pace. Guests may choose between a visit to the DMZ for insight into Korea’s divided past, or a Korean Folk Village + Suwon Hwasong fortress, known for its Traditional Korean Performances, percussion show, Fan dancing with exciting music, Clown shows, etc. One evening is dedicated to a guided night market food tour, sampling the flavours locals love.

Travelling south by high-speed train, we arrive in Gyeongju (3 nights), the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom. A full UNESCO Heritage Day brings Korea’s history to life, with an evening illuminations at Anapji Pond add a magical touch.

We then journey by road to Busan (4 nights), fondly called as Korea’s beachy little sister. A half-day city tour showcases colourful villages and seaside scenery, followed by free afternoons and a sparkling night lights tour. A full Me Day allows you to enjoy Busan your way before returning to Seoul (1 night) for our final night and flying home with an overnight flight to Auckland
