Sit back and relax as we journey from our homes in Whangarei to stunning Taupō (3 nights) where we immerse ourselves in the landscape created by NZ’s geothermal activity and experience the alpine volcanic region. Next, we head to Rotorua (3 nights). Here, the fun continues with more unforgettable experiences on land and water. Our time in Rotorua culminates with a spectacular visit to Te Puia geothermal valley.

As we turn to home, we’ll take a final stop in Hamilton (1 night) to enjoy the gardens and estates in the region before finishing our road trip back in Northland.
