With departures from Dargaville and Whangarei, it’s easy to climb aboard as we take you to Mt Wellington, the area fast becoming NZ’s shopping mecca.
Our first stop is IKEA. Awaken your interior ideas by taking in all that is on show. Be amazed by the many decorated rooms, full of inspiration and cosiness, The Scandinavians don’t call it ‘hygge’ for nothing, they know a thing or two about how to make a house a home. Don’t forget to check out the café and try the famous meatballs while you’re there.
After a morning at IKEA, we will head across to Sylvia Park. With NZ’s biggest range of shops (over 200 stores) and a variety of food options, we’ll spend the afternoon in search of bargains and enjoy the indoor and outdoor exhibits along the way.
After you’ve thoroughly shopped, drop yourself back into the vans and let your driver deal with the traffic while you compare your purchases with your fellow travellers, with return to either Whangarei or Dargaville.
