Hosted Day Tour

On the morning of the tour meet at the Whangarei Club. From there we drive towards Auckland, stopping for a Waipu pick-up en-route and pausing for coffee & cake at Eutopia Café.

Upon arrival in Auckland, we will have time for a quick bite to eat before heading to the Aotea Centre and taking our seats in the wonderful Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre for the show.

In RNZB’s stunning presentation, the age-old story of the princess who pricks her finger and falls into an enchanted sleep, only to be wakened by true love, is brought to life in picture-perfect designs by Gary Harris, classical choreography and Tchaikovsky’s magical music. A touch of wizardry from Wellington’s Wētā Workshop adds to the joy and wonder, making this the perfect pre-Christmas treat.

After the show we head home, stopping in Warkworth to share a meal on the way. After dinner, let your Host take care of the driving as you relax, arriving back in Whangarei at around 8.30pm.
