We start with pick-up from our Whangarei homes, travel to Auckland airport and fly to Fiji (1 night), where we start the unwinding process in preparation for boarding our cruise at the port of Lautoka. From here we travel across the South Pacific aboard the Norwegian Spirit (13 nights).
This cruise itinerary takes us from Lautoka in Fiji to Papeete in Tahiti and includes a number of port stops along the way in dream destinations like Aitutaki, Apia, Pago Pago, Bora Bora, Moorea and more. With a wide range of optional excursions at each port, do as much or as little as you would like along the way; bask on pristine white beaches, savour the local cuisines, venture into lush tropical rainforest, view spectacular tropical fish either in the water or via a glass bottomed boat and so much more.
The experience onboard the cruise ship is special too. Newly refurbished in 2022, the Norwegian Spirit has been designed for laid-back luxury. Relax by the pool, take a stroll around the deck, enjoy an aperitif at one of the many bars and lounges, be entertained by performers or book a treatment at the spa, the choice is up to you and your travel friends are on hand if you find yourself at a loose end.
At the end of our Pacific odyssey we disembark in Papeete, the main town of Tahiti in French Polynesia (1 night). We catch a flight from Papeete to Auckland and will be met by van for the final leg to Whangarei.
