Southern Africa Golf Safari with Explore Options for non-golfers

Hosted Tour: 25 days / 24 nights OR

30 days / 29 nights with Victoria Falls & Chobe Game Reserve Extension

Departing Wed 8th Apr 26

We begin on Day One with a relaxed departure from Whangarei, heading to Auckland for an overnight stay. On Day Two, we transit through Singapore with a short hotel stop at Changi Airport to refresh and regroup. Day Three sees us arrive in Johannesburg and travel to the charming highland town of Dullstroom (2 nights) & play a round at the stunning Highland Gate Golf Club, set among mountainous terrain and considered one of South Africa’s finest.

On Day Five, we head to Kruger National Park (3 nights), travelling via the scenic Panorama Route with stops at Mac-Mac Falls, God’s Window, and the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon. While based in Hazyview, we embark on a full-day open-vehicle safari through Kruger in search of the Big Five, and enjoy a truly wild round of golf at the Skukuza Golf Course, uniquely situated within the park itself.

Next, on Day Eight, we make our way to Nelspruit (2 nights). Our journey includes a leisurely self-drive safari through Kruger and a round of golf at the bushveld-style Mbombela Golf Course, known for its ancient trees and prolific birdlife. Day Ten takes us to the coastal retreat of St. Francis Bay (2 nights), where we play at the Jack Nicklaus-designed St Francis Links — consistently ranked among South Africa’s top courses.

From there, we travel along the famed Garden Route to Knysna (3 nights) on Day Twelve. Highlights here include a round at Simola Golf Course, the scenic Featherbed Eco Tour, and a round at the ocean-view Pezula Golf Course. Day Fifteen brings us to Mossel Bay (2 nights) and a dramatic round of golf at the award-winning Pinnacle Point, perched high above the Indian Ocean.

On Day Seventeen, we journey into the Cape Winelands and stay in Stellenbosch (2 nights), teeing off at De Zalze Golf Club and enjoying a relaxed day visiting local vineyards and sampling their finest wines. Day Nineteen takes us to Cape Town for our final stay (4 nights). Here, we explore the iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting), the Two Oceans Aquarium, play our last round at Atlantic Beach Links, and round off the journey with a full-day Cape Peninsula tour that takes in Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Cape Point, and the adorable penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Oh my gosh, we all had a fantastic day out. Thank you so much. I really didn’t expect to like all those weird and wonderful snacks during the "Curious Food Train" activity, and didn’t think they would all participate. The staff all keep thanking us for such a great day. Looking forward to next years event!
