Our journey starts with a shuttle from our homes in Whangarei down to Auckland, where we catch a flight to Sydney (5 nights).
Our following days in Sydney will be an in-depth exploration of everything the city has to offer by day, including the famous landmarks along the harbour, local guides providing insights to and secrets of well-known sights, memorable views from land and water and more. We will take time to explore the range of markets held in locations across the city, where you can score a bargain, see stalls from up-and-coming designers to watch, and feast all your senses with street food from around the globe. Whilst in Sydney we will also take in a matinee performance of a top class show.
By night, the Vivid Festival of Light comes into it’s own, with entry to a range of events included in the tour cost. This annual festival is a real sight to behold – with a Light Walk navigating from Central Station to Sydney Opera House, and a jam-packed line-up of shows that celebrate the soul of the city. A highlight of any Vivid agenda is an evening cruise on the harbour for dinner and to see the Vivid lights from the water – including the famous projections across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
On Day 6 we transfer to Sydney Airport and fly back to Auckland, where the shuttle will meet us and deliver us safely to our doorsteps in Whangarei.
