Hosted Tour: 6 Days / 5 Nights: Next Departure: Tuesday 11th June 2024

Our journey starts with a shuttle from our homes in Whangarei down to Auckland, where we catch a flight to Sydney (5 nights). Once in Sydney we check into our Darling Harbour accommodation, then start our trip in style, with an evening cruise on the harbour for dinner and our first glimpse of the Vivid lights – including the famous projections across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

Our following four days in Sydney will be an in-depth exploration of everything the city has to offer by day, including the famous landmarks along the harbour, local guides providing insights to and secrets of well-known sights, memorable views from land and water and more. We will take time to explore the range of markets held in locations across the city, where you can score a bargain, see stalls from up-and-coming designers to watch, and feast all your senses with street food from around the globe.

Included in the tour cost is your ticket to the musical Chicago, performed at the Haymarket Theatre. The longest running show on Broadway, this scorching hot masterpiece is a 1930s showcase of murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery, treachery… and All That Jazz.

By night, the Vivid Festival of Light comes into it’s own, with entry to a range of events included in the tour cost. This year’s Vivid Sydney is bigger and brighter than ever before, with a Light Walk navigating from Central Station to Sydney Opera House, and a jam-packed line-up of shows that celebrate the soul of the city.
On Day 6 we transfer to Sydney Airport and fly back to Auckland, where the shuttle will meet us and deliver us safely to our doorsteps in Whangarei.
