You, Me & Friends “Amazing Places” ***Darwin***

After spending some time in Uluru and Alice Springs on our tour of The Red Centre and Top End, we head to Darwin, a vibrant tropical city at the Top End of Australia. With its laid-back atmosphere, rich cultural heritage, and stunning natural beauty, Darwin offers a diverse range of experiences to delight every traveler.

Discover the rich history and culture as we embark on a guided city tour. We will visit key landmarks such as the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, Stokes Hill Wharf, and the Darwin Military Museum, learning about the city’s fascinating past, from its indigenous roots to its role in World War II.

In the evening, we will enjoy a sunset dinner cruise along Darwin Harbour, relaxing onboard as we cruise past the historic landmarks and soak in panoramic views of the city skyline. Onboard, we will indulge in a delicious meal as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant hues or orange and pink.

On our free day in Darwin, you can choose to relax/eat/shop/explore, or for those seeking adventure, consider taking an optional Jumping Crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River. Get up close and personal with these ancient reptiles as you cruise along the riverbanks and witness their impressive agility and power.

For a taste of Darwin’s multicultural charm, we will visit the iconic Mindil Beach Sunset Market. We will wander through the stalls selling a tantalizing array of international cuisine, handmade crafts, and locally made goods. Situated against the backdrop of Mindil Beach, this vibrant market is the perfect place to catch a stunning sunset while immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere.

Whether you’re craving relaxation, culture, or adventure, Darwin has something for everyone. Soak up the laid-back vibe, immerse yourself in the local culture, and make memories to last a lifetime in this tropical paradise at the Top End of Australia.

Oh my gosh, we all had a fantastic day out. Thank you so much. I really didn’t expect to like all those weird and wonderful snacks during the "Curious Food Train" activity, and didn’t think they would all participate. The staff all keep thanking us for such a great day. Looking forward to next years event!
